Le plus productif de tous les cépages. Une varieté qui produit du vin blanc, et qui est plantée dans presque tous les pays produisant le vin. La vigne est facile à cultiver et a une grande production. Sa grande vertu est qu'elle garde une haute acidité, même si elle a déjà mûri. Le goût et l’odeur du vin sont relativement légers et neutres avec un ton clair d’agrume.
Typicité: Agrumes, pommes vertes et noix.

Verdejo est le cépage aromatique derrière les vins blancs croquants de Rueda dans le centre de l'Espagne. Elle est la variété la plus plantée dans cette région. Les vins issus du Verdejo sont ou bien des mono-cépages ou bien des assemblages avec le viura ou le sauvignon blanc. Les vins verdejo sont amples et équilibrés avec des arômes d'agrumes et des notes épicés.

1. Presentation: The history of the winery begins in 1853 when the Lozano family plants their first vineyard in Villarrobledo. Since then the company has been characterized by its ability to adapt to the latest market developments without forgetting its commitment to tradition. Attention to detail, dedication and hard work are reflected in our wines which are recognized worldwide. Each stage of the process, starting from looking after the grapes until the final step of bottling seeks to obtain the best quality wines endorsed by prestigious international awards.
2. Vineyard
Climate: Typically continental. Temperature: High ranging temperatures, reaching + 40 ° C in summer and low temperatures in winter.
Altitude: 742 m.  Location: Primarily low mountain.
Soil: Mostly clay-calcareous.
Total area: 1,000 hectares.
Plantation: Trellis and cup-shaped.
Plantation Density: 2,778 plants/hectare.
Annual Production: 6,500 kg/hectare.
3. Wine Cellar: The facilities can store up to 150 million liters. In addition, there are two rooms with over 8,000 barrels of French and American oak. We also have a room cooled at around 0 ° and another with aseptic deposits, placing the winery at the forefront of the wine sector. Moreover, the winery has an intelligent warehouse and three production lines with the bottling capacity of more than 20,000 bottles per hour. Respect for the environment In the vineyard a large reservoir stores water in rainy seasons to irrigate the fields in hot months.

management of organic waste. Environmental commitment
Bodegas Lozano has implemented a Computerized Process
